Rant: I'm going insane!!!!
Tiger's Destiny has been on the shelves since Sept. 4, and I still
haven't received mine. I don't think I'll preorder anymore- it just
takes too long to receive through the mail when I could just go to the
nearest walmart or barnes and noble and buy the book the day it comes
out (I know, I know- you're probably wondering why I didn't just do this
in the first place. I preorder Tiger's Destiny because it would have
saved me about $7). *sighs and sniffles 'I need to read what happens next'*

Movie Review: The Hunger Games
My Review: An amazing film, especially since it's based on a remarkable book
series. The cast for the characters were perfect, as was how the story
was portrayed. Quite outstanding- even if they left out quite a few things from the book. I especially loved how we got to see they gamesmarkers working while the tributes were in the arena. This is definitely a movie worth seeing. 5/5 STARS
Movie Review: DragonBall Evolution
My Review: Despite all the negative comments I've read, I thought the movie was alright and I'm a fan of the DBZ cartoon. If you base this movie on the anime series, then you'll most likely be disappointed. Watching this movie without any high expectations and it isn't too bad. Sure, it could have been better, but it was entertaining enough that I would be willing to watch it again. The cast worked well together and were endearing in their own ways. 4/5 STARS
Book Review: Fallen, Torment, Passion, and Rapture by Lauren Kate (Four books of the Fallen Series)
My Review:
Fallen: Reincarnation, angels, and a secrets that could kill.... Definitely a novel worth reading. This novel is dark and a delicious read. Lauren Kate adds just enough mystery that had my mind spinning with questions, guaranteeing that I would have to go out and buy the next book to the series. 4/5 STARS
Torment: Lies... half-truths...hidden agendas. Angels...demons...outkasts. Let's not forget a overly protective angel boyfriend who whisks you away to a special school taught by an angel/demon couple. Sound unbelievable? Not for Lucinda Price. Ever since meeting Daniel, her life has taken on the 'unbelievable' quality. The angel and demon part, she can deal with, but not the lies and being kept in the dark.
In 'Torment', the story continues on a dark, thrilling ride into the world of the Fallen Angels that Lauren Kate has so beautifully written for us. This is a series you will not want to miss. 4/5 STARS
Passion: Finally, the time has come when we get to journey back into the past of Luce and Daniel and find the hidden truths that lie there. The titled of this book is perfect, because this novel is full of 'Passion'. I love how we get to see behind Daniel's eyes throughout the book also- it was intriguing! The most touching part is how much love and devotion there is between Luce and Daniel (makes me want an angel of my own- preferably not one that is being punished in a way that will result in my untimely demise).
This is a novel definitely worth reading! 4/5 STARS
Rapture: I had high expectations for this book, which resulted in my slight disappointment. Overall, this novel was great, but I believe it could have been better. It felt rushed, as if the story wasn't very well-developed compared to the others. The twist at the end made up a lot for the disappointment, but I still wish there could have been more to the story.
For me, this series had a bittersweet ending that left me wondering- is that all? 3/5 STARS
