Book Review: Shattered by Dani Pettrey

My Review: I received Shattered in a LibraryThing Giveaway.

When I first started reading this book, I wasn't sure if I was going to like it or not, but the more I got into it, the more I became intrigued. This is definitely a book that held my attention the more I read. Pettrey created a story that is both endearing and mysterious. With blooming romance between old friends and a murder investigation that could take a deadly turn, this story does not have dull moment.

The only thing that really put me off from the book, is the constant switch of perspectives. I'm not saying that it's a bad thing, because it's not, but the frequency of how often the perspectives were switched did irk me some.

Overall, this is definitely a book worth reading. I don't usually read novels like this, but I'm glad I did. It was a refreshing change that spiced up my reading. 4/5 STARS
